Guardian Pet Sitters LLC of Monroe County, Indiana, is owned and operated by the Obrakta Family. We decided to make Bloomington our home twelve years ago. When we moved here we had one dog. Now, we share our home with six pets. Four of our pets were adopted from the local shelter Two were rescued from difficult situations. That led to becoming active in animal welfare.
In the past five years we have fostered almost two hundred shelter animals. We also transport rescued animals to foster families in other states, and even helped a Border Collie deliver eight puppies in the back of our vehicle. These experiences have been deeply gratifying and strengthened our commitment to helping animals.
